Skinny Russian Women are indeed a source of wonderment.
Skinniness is the prime reason why American men, who obsess about weight issues - except their own - flock to Russia to find a Russian wife. And within nanoseconds, they fall in love with the Russian Woman’s embossed rib cage and breasts no more Michelin than a mosquito bite.
What is the explanation for this wonder of the modern world?
Russian Women Do Not Cook Or Eat In Any Meaningful Way
Logically, girls who don’t cook - (see Why Can’t Russian Women Cook?) - are unlikely to eat in any meaningful way. But with Russian Women, this is more the result of vanity. As we know, the typical Russian Woman will spend an hour dressing up just to go round to the corner shop for a cabbage. They cannot allow even one false eyelash out of place. So any operation like eating food, that could risk matting their lip-gloss or leaving crumbs in the cleavage, is studiously avoided.
That vanity is essential to Russian Women is well-explained by the sociologist Nancy Etcoff in her book, ‘Survival Of The Prettiest‘. ‘Skinny Power’ is key to the Darwinian survival of Russian Women, whether in getting a job or in getting laid by a ‘valuta suitor‘ - a visiting foreigner with money. As Nancy herself puts it, ‘No Vain, No Gain’.
Like every rule, of course, there are exceptions. In Soviet times, non-skinny Russian women were sent to the Gulag. Today, however they are persuaded by the authorities to remain underground. As a result, the metro is packed with huge Russian women with square necks and protruding jowls wedged under a big fur hat. To me, Muscovite women all look like Santa Claus with lipstick. Fortunately, in Russia’s well-regulated society, they are kept out of sight of visiting tourists and you would never know they existed.
here in croatia (especially in dalmatia and lika part, in rural area) there are many ËÂoldË bechelors. some had an idea to open some sort of ËÂmarriage agencyË and bring mostly ukrainian women to croatia to be married. so by now, there are couple of hundreds of ukrainian women who became croatian wives. i even talked to one of them and she said she is very happy here in croatia and has a good husband. i guess men from usa and west europe (and israel as i heard) have b(r)ought even more russian and other former sssr women to their homes.
one thing what i was wondering about is are all those women so good looking!? it’s a kind of mistery coz all those sites show almost perfect women. but now i know the that huge women are in the metro

The reason why we are so skiny is because we are not like lazy and all we do is seat on the coach and eat our potatoe chips.. We walk everywhere and stay where active… So go and screw yourself… You’r just mad your aint us.. probably one of thouse fat, lazy, jelous bitches….

You are wrong! Russian women can cook, and for your information, not everyone wears fake eyelashes, or lip gloss or is such a messy eater, they get crumbs in their clothes. Obviously you’ve never been to Russia. Probably not even near. How would you feel if Russians started talking about American women being mile wide because they can’t get off their bums. You and I both know that that isn’t true either.

It is a fact that Russian and Ukrainian population is a lot skinnier than American. It’s very obvious to anyone who has been to both places. After you live in one place for a while you get used to what you see, but as soon as you move out of the country, you are shocked to discover the difference. What’s considered overweight or fat in Russia would be considered average if not athletic in the US.
The reason for this is availablity of healthy organic foods everywhere in Russia. Even fast food restaurants have a lot of choices of healthy mostly vegetable-based food that also tastes great. In the US the only healthy salad is lettuce, which tastes like grass unless you add a lot of fatty dressing to it.
Also in Russia, farmers markets are everywhere, within walking distance from your home, and fruits and vegetables sold there have high vitamin content, because they are mostly organic. Accidentlly, these fruits and veggies also taste great. In the US, farmers market are only open on Sundays and don’t exist in many places. Whatever produce is sold at supermarkets is almost void of nutrients and vitamins, and tastes bland.
Russian women mostly eat at home, and they prapare their own meals. They are skinny not because they are vain, they are skinny without even trying, because they live in the environment where becoming fat is very difficult unless you hit menopause and your metabolism slows down. Send any fat American to Russia for a few months and they will lose weight naturally, without even trying.
I’ve heard pretty much the same from my European friends: too many Eastern European women are too busy with the way they look, so, they don’t care about how they sound: brainless. BUT why in the world would a woman want to look like a teen boy? I can’t understand, honestly. Instead of eating, I see them smoking and getting drunk while dressing like… (you know what), at least those who come to US. A pity.

Tons of Russians come to Turkey only to hook up with rich Turkish men, I can totally understand why they just worry about how they look…
Also, they look hot when they’re young but ugly when older, a 16 year old might look like a woman at her 20s, I think it’s because of they lifestyle… and all the smoking, makeup and slutty outfits…

Our Russian women are much sexier than American women. American women leave the house looking like they have been cleaning rubbish bins.

I know lots of Russian women. They are skinny because they walk most places, most don’t have cars, walk to the metro etc. And they take pride in their appearance. They eat smaller portions.
Also, most don’t eat fast food, or processed food, and they most certainly do cook.

Her prediction is true. I have spent half of my time in Ukraine the last two years and lost 20 pounds: walking, eating well. I am American, and shocked and dismayed by our physical state.
The Ukrainian women I know are really amazing cooks, with skills passed from generation to generation. From men, I learned to properly cook grilled meats.

Why shouldnt they-in todays modern world looks are very important,and all these women can make it to Miss Universe.When I visit the USA,I see foul mouthed,fat liberated women running around with a ponytail,jeans,and sneakers! Then when a beautiful lady walks by they speak badly about her! Could it be they are mirroring their own images??? If you dont like and accept the competion then stop eating and walk 5 miles-the normal what a Russian walks to work every day.
