Society Wedding
Weddings are just one of the social events that are celebrated on Kaliningrad’s new bridge, so my camera lucked in to this ready posed group.
Tacky dressing buffs may want to elaborate on the many style-pointers in this picture. It’s a bit advanced class tacky for me.
But I know what you’re wondering. The bride has awfully thick arms. Does she perhaps drive a tram?
Looks like the cast from the Russian version of Coronation Street. There’s the ne’er-do-well punk and his inexplicably loyal girlfriend on the left; the neighborhood tramp in red (who is already sleeping with the groom); the bride, Brunehilda, daughter of a rich potato magnate, to whom the groom promised to explain the operatic saying “It’s not over until the fat lady sings” on their wedding night; the horny teen girls (nice tanned legs, by the way); and the guy who accidentally wandered into the shot trying to hail a taxi. It’s sure to be an exciting season of must-see TV.
