Astonishing, isn’t it. There are thousands of beautiful Russian Women on the Internet. And all of them seemingly abandoned, left on the shelf.
The explanation is largely cultural. Most of us are attracted to Russian Women by their sexy, foreign accent. But if you already speak Russian, as most Russian Men do, the girls don’t sound at all foreign or sexy.
Another limiting factor is that the kind of women Russian Men date are usually already married to someone else.
Also, we must consider Russian demographics. There are far more men in Russia than women. I know this statistic is usually presented the other way around, but it is erroneous.
You will notice that in any sporting contests, - like the Olympic shot-put or weight-lifting - the Russian Women’s team regularly fails sex tests. It is also quite obvious to any casual traveller in Russia that all the women you see mending roads and driving trains are in fact men.
It is a complex subject and I will return to it later.

I have a very limited experience with this topic and I only have it from the woman’s perspective but this is what I have been able to piece together…
I, by strange circumstances, met a woman from Russia, while we were both on holiday on the same island. To keep it short, we met thru friends and hit it off right away.
She was traveling with 3 of her gfs from university. All of them from Habarovsk, Russia and all attending university in China. Each very much different but with the same core features, confident, funny, out-going, energetic and very socialable.
After spending a week with them as a group and more one on one time with ****, I knew I want to see her again. So, we planned another holiday for a few months later and **** and I met, this time alone, for 3 wonderful weeks.
During the time with her and her friends and again while it was just the two of us, the topic of relationships, past partners and future expectations came up quiet often.
The girls all had stories to tell of ex boyfriends and the pro’s and con’s of dating Russian men. The overall story though was, while things tend to work fine when in Russia, they don’t seem to work as well aboard. It comes down to the girls being better with foreign language, not as heavy of drinkers as the guys and willingness to work for what they want. Each had their own story and they all took almost the same path. They move away for university, the girls study and study and study, the guys play and party, the girls end up with successful intermships and the opprotunity for employment due to the high grades and better understanding of foreign languages, the guys end up going back to Russia, either (A) because they did not finish thier degree or (B) unable to find work if they did.
What happens next, isn’t just a Russian thing, the guys end up either not working or working for less money than could have made aboard, drinking way to much, not keeping contact with thier gf and eventually in the arms of another girl, back in Russia. Or you have the story of the couple together studying in Russia and the guy gets the opprotunity to study aboard and he’s no more landed and he’s with another girl…usually Russian but still, not faithful.
This has turned many great women from Russia bitter towards thier own men, as it not only happens to them but has happen to so many of thier friends.
****, told me during our holiday together, that growing up, she never considered being with anyone that wasn’t from Russia, not for a date, not for dating and especially not for marriage. But after being lied to twice in back to back serious relationships, why not give the rest of the world a chance.
When we met, neither of us were looking for a relationship. She is working on finishing her masters, while working full time and starting her own business. I’m working aboard, 85-100 hours a week, to make the money to start my own business. But after spendng 3 weeks together we were both sold on each other. Energy levels are the same, sense of humors are the same, ambition and goals… while not the same kind of business, the effort and drive we both have are the same, outdoor activities… we both enjoy the same things, romantic sides are a perfect match, same feelings on religion and sprituality, same ideas of family and childern. But these are both things we each knew about ourselves prior to meeting each other. Being armed with the knowledge of who we are and what we want is the reason we were both single. We knew what we were looking for and both had the common sense to recognize it when it was standing in front of our face and to take adavantage of the fact that a million different things had to happen for the one opprotunity to say hello and understand to not waste it.
So, while it may seem that Russian men won’t date Russian women, I believe it has to do a lot with the change to the Russian culture, the ever shrinking world we live in, the thirst of something/someone the can fulfill our lives and the appreciation of self that has many Russian women looking in other directions.
Like I stated in the beginning, I have limited exposure to this and what I do have is with well educated women from good families, with good morals and up bringing. I know not everyone is fortunate enough the have the opprotunity to study aboard and to travel. This is nothing to do with Russia but any country.
As for some of the other comments I have read on here about Russian women being the spawn of LucIfer… don’t know about that but I do know they are extremely passionate. I asked ****, on New Years Day, to marry me and to my delight she has accepted. I have seen her mad… at me, only twice and while the fire was raging in her eyes, all it took was a calm sincere apology and the knowledgement of what I had done to upset her… along with the information that, due the fact that I am, not only human but a man, I’ll most likely make the same mistake again, in the not so distant future but I’ll be ready to admit the mistake and apologize again. I have been upset with her… scratch that… pissed off at her only once. Immediatley she recognized the situation and did the exact same thing, offered a sincere apology, without explanation or excuse… just asked for forgiveness. Showing the same passion in apologizing as she shows in her studies, our future plans and in the sheets. So, maybe you say I got lucky. But luck had nothing to do with it. Lucky is when you pick and number in a drawing and win. This was a calculated selection of a person that fits me in every way and not some…” oooo, she’s cute” kind of thing.
I’m sorry for you guys that have made a bed that is uncomfortable to sleep in, I have made that mistake myself in life. But when I got out of that bed, I left with more than hurt feelings, I left armed with the knowledge of what I did wrong, what I did right and what not to do again. And for you guys that are trying to stick it out no matter what. The best of luck to you, God knows you are going to need it. And for those of you who wake up one day and say… “What the fuck am I doing???” and walk away. Take the good memories and keep them close to heart. Take the bad memories and keep them close to mind. Remember why it didn’t work and don’t make the same mistake again.
I can understand why even after a horrible relationsip a man would go back to a Russian woman. I have dated women from all over the world and Russian women are unique creatures in so many ways. But be realistic when choosing a partner. If it seems to good to be true… probably is.
Best piece of advice I can give anyone here.. pick up and read the book… Falling In Love For All The Right Reasons. Great read, will help you understand so much about yourself. It’s hard to do but sometimes you meet a person who has 8 qualities that you love but then they have that 1… that 1 thing that just not right. IF it’s a big 1, then let him/her go and save both of you the hurt that will surely come. You can’t change certain things about people.
