Astonishing, isn’t it. There are thousands of beautiful Russian Women on the Internet. And all of them seemingly abandoned, left on the shelf.
The explanation is largely cultural. Most of us are attracted to Russian Women by their sexy, foreign accent. But if you already speak Russian, as most Russian Men do, the girls don’t sound at all foreign or sexy.
Another limiting factor is that the kind of women Russian Men date are usually already married to someone else.
Also, we must consider Russian demographics. There are far more men in Russia than women. I know this statistic is usually presented the other way around, but it is erroneous.
You will notice that in any sporting contests, - like the Olympic shot-put or weight-lifting - the Russian Women’s team regularly fails sex tests. It is also quite obvious to any casual traveller in Russia that all the women you see mending roads and driving trains are in fact men.
It is a complex subject and I will return to it later.

My wife’s next door neighbor from Odessa married a man in Canberra, Australia. Then she immediately went back to Odessa. She never came back. But her interpreter did contact ME to confirm it is is true that in Australia the divorced wife gets half? I said ‘what!!!!!!!!!’.

I purchased several Russian speaking News and Entertainment channels off the Satelite T.V. provider. Nothing helped.
Tatyana was not happy with America , my home and started focusing her attention on English classes and obtaining her drivers liscense.
She Told me the people at her Russian speaking church were helping her to Obtain that drivers liscense
and advising her to start her own bank account.She told me they were advising her on how to be happy in America.
The advise they gave Tatyana was to find a good Russian boy to marry and Steal everything from her husband she could get her hands on.
The church advised Tatyana the only way she could stay in America and possibly gain
material and monetary support from her husband was to file Domestic Battery
charges.The INS will allow abused foreign wives to stay in America where a divorce
before 2yrs is an automatic false marraige and return to Ukraine.What Follows is

Tetyana met Irena Rayburn in October 2010, while working at Walmart. Tetyana and her
husband attended several dinners and holidays at Irena,s house where Tetyana met the
man she now lives with and plans to marry as soon as her divorce is final.Tetyana
would see this man on the sly as often as possible back as far as January of 2011.
When the marraige seemed to Tetyana to be nearing divorce, Irena Rayburn, The Fiance
and Tetyana came up with a plan. Irena has been thru several divorces in America and
she and Tetyana both knew that divorce before two years is considered a false
marraige by immigration and the girl would be deported. They also knew that a charge
of domestic battery would allow Tetyana to stay in America and attempt to take
everything the husband owned in the divorce setting them up for a nice life in
America.The plan was to waite untill Tetyana got her secound green card in May of 2010.
When the husband confronted Tetyana concerning her affair with this man and stated
his intention to get a divorce from Tetyana in June of 2010, Tetyana immediately put
Their plan into action. She called the Police and had the husband arrested on a false battery charge.
While the husband was forced to stay away from his home under a no-contact order,
Tetyana and her now fiance (engaged to marry before the divorce papers were filed)
systematically emptied the husbands house of everything of value and destroy that
which they did not take against the instructions of the divorce papers filed in
June, before the husband could regain possesion of his house.
The possesions gained were spread out amongst the three conspirators.
This is a case of a Russian Speaking Immigrant planning the emotional and financial
destruction of an American for personal gain thru false marraige,false battery charges , theft and vandalism.
Hello … I married a woman from Ukraine Dec, 2010. To make a long story
short, I believe the marriage is a fraud and that she did so to get her green card.
I can list chapter and verse what she has put me through. Bottom line
…she has taken everything she can from me. I am virtually broke. I filed
for divorce last May 24th and got to court Dec 13th. She said she would do it
easy… but that as well is a lie. She is still trying to get more … which I don’t have.
I was postponed until Jan 24th so that I could get a lawyer/ Everywhere I
turned, I was denied. I call USCIS and lodged a complaint that the marriage is
a fraud and why … they said they would investigate but have heard nothing
yet. I have until Feb 21st to go back to court with a lawyer. She got one thru
Legal Services of Westchester-Putnam Counties so they turned me away. I
am told they should not have done so, that they are ONLY a referral service.
And it seems HER lawyer will come after me for fees even though she is pro-bono to her.
I married **** in 2011 after we courted on phone for two months and she came to visit. We married quickly.
**** tried to commit suicide the third month of our marriage despite having no real reason other than to try and manipulate me. Mind you she is drop dead gorgeous. I had a son from a prior marriage and she began to treat him like a nanny. I said “fake it until you feel it or we divorce”. She faked it and I thought she felt it.
She immediately started using the system to have a baby. She never asked me. At a point she became so blindingly selfish and rude to my son that I told her baby doctor no more attempts until my wife got help. The fact is she didn’t want help.
She wanted a baby and to leave me. I thought this could be true as she would start arguments that really only she would have and blame me for anything that bothered her, only to use the word “divorce” all the time.
Eventually she calmed down for a year. I agreed to the baby. The day he was born she said, “I cannot love your son anymore.”
Imagine the horror that a boy that grew up and thought he had a mother only to have her stop loving him. Later she said in bed one night, “I wish I only had one son”.
Meanwhile we’ve been married 6 years now and I had spent in excess of 100,000.00 on her behalf over the years. From two time shares, to extended warrantees on her car, to trip abroad to see her family in Ukraine. I was the perfect husband. When her Russian friend here in the US refused to throw her baby shower, I did. So as I spent, she saved.
After our son (my second son) was a year old she filed a bogus Protection From Abuse order in Delaware on me. I was out of my home where my business operated, my employee couldn’t go to work and my first son couldn’t go home either as she wanted nothing to do with him. I had to live with my parents for four months while I begged for personal belongings from my home. After four months I flipped the PFA as the courts learned the truth about her. Then I promptly began the process of vacating my PFA so we could get back to
trying to heal the family. I did it for the children.
During this next year I get anonymous faxes and text messages from her place of work JP Morgan Bank warning of her having an affair and a trip she moved up by two week coincided with a co-workers trip abroad too.
Worse yet I couldn’t catch her because I confronted her too soon. Four months later she filed for divorce and went straight back to her plan of taking our son and living alone with him. If you’ve seen the movie Loverboy where the mother wants just a child and NOTHING else in life, this is **** ****. Eventually we wound up back in court where she gamed the legal system over and over even filing a PFA against my 75 year old parents in an effort to keep them away from their three year old grandchild for the next year. They were found not guilty and the case was dismissed on it’s merits and she is still clawing for the boy by lying to church congregations about me, and our history. She did agree in cross PFA’s with myself in December of 2011 to yield custody of our son to me and the house too. However since then she swears she is broke and can’t pay child support while buying $6,000.00 fur coats in New York and $1,200.00 foam mattresses among other luxury items.
I found out only two weeks before she filed for divorce she hyphenated her name three years prior without telling me.
My point is this. Duplicity can be a long term road a scammer will travel to get what they want. I was told by her that she loved me and she divorced her last husband because he was in the Russian mob. She has a bullet wound in her right arm to make that case. But I really don’t even know if she has a criminal record in Ukraine of if she is still married.
Now she is trying to get permission to take our 3 year old son to Ukraine for a “visit” and I’m fearful I may never see my son again.
Good luck in who you meet and better luck in who you decide to trust. I had warning signs all throughout but I am an American man with family values. My parents have been married over 50 years, I wanted that same dream to come true and fought for it only to find that a Russian woman that wants to scam you, will get you in the end. She has sworn me as a mortal enemy and I must say I’m really afraid of her.
I met my Russian Wife through an internet web site around 2.5 years ago. We traded a lot of emails and after some time I started to phone her … Her English was perfect, she was very intelligent and we had great communication.
I invited her to the UK and arranged a week abroad to allow us to get to know each other better and relax in good surroundings.
I have to say I was impressed with almost everything about this woman and after further visits to the UK (which I paid for) she explained that the only way to actually leave Russia permanently was through marriage. I eventually asked her to marry me. She accepted and she moved to the UK .
At first all was well ….Then … the complaints started and the demands grew. Nothing was good enough, everything was wrong, I couldn’t do anything right. The personality change within just a few months after the wedding was unbelievable. She offered no communication or cooperation to resolve issues, her complaints just kept on coming.
I mentioned Divorce on a number of occasions in the hope that it may jolt her into resolving problems rather than ignoring them but the word “Divorce” had an adverse effect as the complaints intensified and the problems in our marriage reached another level.
My life had become a mess, I couldn’t stand the atmosphere any longer and I called to see a solicitor for advice then onto the local Court to collect Divorce papers in the hope that once she realised that I was serious she may start to communicate and make some attempt to help me to sort out our lives and save our marriage. Nothing happened, no reaction, no response …nothing!
I contacted the UK home office for guidance and advice on the situation as her visa had little time to run on the initial 2 years marriage visa and was instructed that I could not sponsor her for the renewal of her visa to gain “indefinite leave to remain “ visa status unless (a) the marriage was subsisting (b) we intended to live together indefinitely as man and wife. I was warned that if I didn’t comply with the immigration rules and signed her visa application I would then be committing a criminal act and could face very serious charges with possible imprisonment as a penalty.
Friends were now coming forward claiming that she had told them that the only reason she came to the UK was to prevent the Russian Army from conscripting her son and to provide him with a better education in the UK . I didn’t enter into the equation for her wanting to come to the UK at all.
I felt very cheated, disappointed and used. I couldn’t believe that the detraction on my life had become so severe and painful when I should have been the happiest man in the world having found what I originally believed to be the most fantastic woman I had ever known.
I had no alternative but to file for divorce on grounds of unreasonable behaviour and I filed the papers with the Court accordingly.
Within a few days of the Court Bailiff serving the divorce papers on my wife I was arrested by the Police on allegations of domestic violence! I was thrown in a cell, detained overnight, released on Bail the following morning and told to go home. I dare not go home for fear that my wife may add even more false charges to the 3 she had already alleged.
The charges she made are false and without evidence of any assault, no medical proof ….nothing! But as soon as allegations are made the Police provide the RW with a paper stating they had made an arrest then she can self petition the Home Office for a permanent UK Visa.
I have pleaded not guilty to all the allegations in the local court but the “domestic violence industry“has now jumped on the band wagon and wont let go. So now I have to go to high court and face a full jury and if found guilty of a crime I didn’t commit I could face a terrible penalty and have to pay all costs, lose my job, self respect and financial ruin.
By the time this reaches a conclusion it will be almost a year of stress for me yet it appears to Russian Women that no length or suffering is too great to get a UK visa they simply see the Legal Loophole as a means to an end to get a visa rather than go back to Russia .
I am amazed that it is so easy to get information on “What to do if your husband doesn’t sign your visa” which are openly illustrated on the internet including the British Home Office website. They virtually tell them what to do to get the visa to stay in the UK .
Be warned, that despite how beautiful these women are, and how attentive and good natured they seem. The visa is paramount in their mind and once they have used you to get it, they will either move on amicably or file for divorce taking as much of your estate as possible with them! A husband may deny them the visa through a divorce within the initial 2 years of the marriage but do so at your peril!!
I have read stories very similar to my own from people in Australia and America, I just wish to God that I had seen them before I married, and maybe I wouldn’t be in this terrible situation now.

I am confused if you are having a jury trial, how the judge can tell you one week before the jury trial that you will win. What did your lawyer say about that!

Wow. That is good luck for you. I dont know what advice anyone here can give. If you have family members that speak to High Court judges to pre-determine the outcome of jury trials, then you have some really good family helpers.
So, since that High Court, jury case, where you may go to jail and lose all your money and job is no problem becasue you family has influenced the judge is not a problem anymore, then what advice are you seeking.

In your long detail of your story you mentioned her son who was trying to avoid the Russian Army. Now, I am thinking maybe she was not a virgin when you met her. And I am thinking maybe she is not mentally stable. As since she is from Kiev, but she has fear of the Russian Army taking her boy.
Now I guess it is possible she was a virgin, but the boy is not hers. I mean if the boy is 17 or so, that means she had the boy when she was 11 years old. Now that is possible, but not likely.
So, I am thinking someone in Kiev paid her to take the boy from Ukraine. I mean you dont really know anything do you. The fact that she calls herself Russian and is afraid the Russian army will take her boy… well maybe she and he ARE Russian.

Actually, Aydin, she must have been a GREAT actor. Because it is not possible, I guess, for her cold to allow her to speak perfect English. But she comes to the UK and she cannot speak perfect… unless she is acting.
So, we really have two possibilities
the son is the English speaking, Russian Anti Christ, of the Virgin from Ukraine who needs to get to the UK to avoid the Russian army in Kiev
or
