Why Don’t Russian Men Marry Russian Women?
Astonishing, isn’t it. There are thousands of beautiful Russian Women on the Internet. And all of them seemingly abandoned, left on the shelf.
The explanation is largely cultural. Most of us are attracted to Russian Women by their sexy, foreign accent. But if you already speak Russian, as most Russian Men do, the girls don’t sound at all foreign or sexy.
Another limiting factor is that the kind of women Russian Men date are usually already married to someone else.
Also, we must consider Russian demographics. There are far more men in Russia than women. I know this statistic is usually presented the other way around, but it is erroneous.
You will notice that in any sporting contests, - like the Olympic shot-put or weight-lifting - the Russian Women’s team regularly fails sex tests. It is also quite obvious to any casual traveller in Russia that all the women you see mending roads and driving trains are in fact men.
It is a complex subject and I will return to it later.

I have read most of this comments and i can say is that daniel, i’am not sure if your lying or telling the truth, my sense say that you are lying and trying to scam people to try to buy your book, why else would you try to sell it for 9.99 if you werent seems pretty, logical to think that no matter if your stories are true or false you are still trying to make MONEY out of the experience. I actually do not, nor ever had any book for sale. That was Hopey making some stuff up. re doormat - I was and am, but I was a reluctant one. I mean I would say say no - but after days and weeks and even months of my wife nagging me to death and explaining ‘how it works in a Russian marriage’, I often said YES when I should have kept to my NO.
I am completely unprepared for months of torture and daily explaining and months of withholding of communication and months of withholding of sex.
It was (and is) such a terrible experience.
Trust me… it is not exciting at all. It is not exciting to be told almost daily that you dont have enough money or your have aged 10 years (after 10 years of marriage) or every misdeed of a step child is because my bad character rubbed off on them.
Honestly, it was not exciting at all. How will I deal with it. I dont know. Psychiatrist is one way, I guess. I honestly do not know what the future will hold.
All I can say is it is so, so, so horrible. It is horrible to have the one you love tell you so, so often how bad and non-manly you are. God I cannot say enough how horrible it is.
Now, as I lived through all this, I have typed a lot. But as I said, I want to stop typing. But please understand… for profit NO…. exciting…. NO horrible… YES

Beautiful (after 10 plastic surgeries) woman is siting at the pool by her mansion, wearing make up. Now, I was having a long chat to the ONE person I know… a Russian woman. She reminded me of the Russian women are taught they are the NECK. Tell the guy he is the head, but knowing you are the NECK, you will control where the head goes (turns).
When I first heard that (wifey explained to me) I as upset… I knew straight away the Russian woman culture teaches women they are the guiders and bosses of the marriage. That is just plain old BAD CULTURE. The secret Russian feminism.
I swear my wife used to sit me down in the early years of marriage and explain to me how the ‘Russian’ marriage works. And it is not a pleasant lecture. Now maybe I have been crapped on and conned from day one. But it was all under the guise of ‘this is how it works in Russia’. (or Ukraine trailor parks (jab at you Hopey)).
Obviously I cannot change Russian women’s culture. I cannot train my wife to behave normal (she will need to make that choice herself). I can only work on me. Even before I saw one psychologist or psychiatrist, we all chatted here about the man being the ‘man’ to the Russian woman-child-mother-pouting-breathholding-princesses.
I honestly gotta try to work it out. But God I hate having to TRAIN RUSSIAN WOMEN. They are adults. They should come TRAINED already (ha ha, they are… oh my). Us guys need to UNTRAIN THEM and RETRAIN THEM.
What a mess. But you can see it everywhere… in the culture. Putin riding horeses with no shirt or wrestling bears or whatever stunt he does next is a very, very poor picture of Russian culture. In Australia if a politian did that, their career would be over (unless they were changing to be a comedian). But in Soviet land the women tremble as the knees at Putin’s pert nipples. The mind just boggles.

Holy smokes Bruce. My Mrs, as much as I have been pained, is like the goddess of heaven and kindest female on earth - compared to your lovely. Holy shit.
We maybe spent $200k more than I earned over 6 years, but my Mrs is unbelievalbly frugle and I think we got a $600k of value for our 200k. I mean, she owns a $6000 Chanel bag now (truely) but she bought it for $700. She bought one for $700, sold for $1200, bought a better Chanel for the $1200, then hit the $2000 mark, and finally, ended up spending $3200 for a bag worth over 6k. So, in fact, I give her the best credit for that accumen.
And my Mrs always keeps the house amazing. And she cooks like the best chef on earth. And she actually says she teaches me what is required of a man in a Russian marriage. And I could go on and on.
I did write a lot about the day to day crap and horror of her making me feel useless. But I feel I can learn control of me. Now, I think my Mrs has been unfaithful one time - but I dont have proof. Actually I do have some medical proof, but really, I never breached that.
But, Bruce, three times is a bit much for you.
The question we all will ask is WHY do you put up with it. It does seem odd. Your scenario is like 1000 times worst than mine… AND I only stay because my belife in God says STAY. You do not believe in God, so why oh why would you not leave.
Given you wrote on post about how you dont have anything to offer women, I will guess you think so lowly of yourself, that what you have is better than nothing. I think your writing shows that no Anastasia is better than any Nastya.
Now, in my writing, I always blamed Russian culture or my wife’s bad marriages before me… but I often wrote that that BAD side was like 5% or 10%. And any reader here can see I would have breaks of weeks with no writing. That meant all was OK. But, as you know, when a Russian woman decided to go ‘crazy’ there is nothing like it on earth.
Bruce, you have us confused (for anyone who reads your blog). Let me give you a couple bits of advice, maybe that can help.
1) stop complaining about it AT ALL
2) leave
You have enough documented evidence to make 2) easy and without harm coming to you. And if you can somehow do 1), you may somehow survive.
I wish I will never complain again. I have been in my mess for ten years also. But my mess is like 1 billionth of yours. But I learned, to date, I dont think I got any benefit from complaining.
But I hear you, man. It seems like the only thing on earth you can do is cry to high heaven. But (I am speaking to myself here)… when I see my shrink on Saturday I am gonna say ‘I am tired of looking back and I am tired of complaining; I want to pretend I just beamed down onto earth into this 55 year old body, and I want to use an intelligent brain to do the best with what I have’.

Hello Daniel. Thank you for your long and thoughtful response. It does seem to me, despite some realtively minor issues, you have a fairly “normal” marriage - which I think is GREAT! The Chanel bag item was VERY funny!!!
To the point, yes I have more than enough real court-type evidence for the child custody battle. FYI, all, not only is adultery no longer illegal in or grounds for divorce in Texas, Texas is a full no-fault divorce State with property division roughly made 50-50.
I have an very sensitive 8 year-old son, and though almost every psych pro I have encountered as said the worst reason to stay in it is “for the child(ren); I felt I needed to do it until my son was old enough to 1) understand a bit more of what is happening & why, and 2) to participate in the Court over the custody issue.
Frankly, too, from a financial point-of-view, it is less expensive for me to separate and help pay her to move & stay out, than a divorce, where the attorneys will get between $25K and $50K. I am definitely never going to marry again @ age 57 and seriously, I could care less if she does or not…cross that bridge later. But, I have some thought that if she DOES decide to, the fool who would marry her can pay for her side of it, wait out the 8 or 9 months total time file / final decree, and then as a result of the new marriage or permanent living relationship, I am off the alimony wagon. Burned before, I have learned a bit of the legal system.
As far as complaining, well, I do come across as extremely bitter, cuckholded, etc., but the examples and other text are as much sarcasism in a very extreme form AND a warning to others about her.
I am a real American and I totally support the First Amendment: we as individuals and groups can convey or opinions about anything as (IMHO) it is verifiable fact truth and / or “does no harm”. Now, am I harming Anastasia Ades now and in the future? Perhaps. Though I think, from my own selfish POV that I am doing a public service
Again, I defintely congratulate you, Daniel on your relationship, the ugly American and worldwide statistics of an over 50% divorce rate for first marriages and an 80% divorce rate (when both parties were previously married); plus an astonishing (to me) alleged infidelity rate over 30%…well, I have had enough of being on the wrong side of the stats.
