Remember that Kaliningrad is the most westerly point of the Dyevushka Empire and therefore the most susceptible to deviant heel influences.
FYI, CB, large heeled boots (especially thigh high lace-ups) are commonly known in the UK as FMBs. (Fuck Me Boots.)
I’m familiar with the genre (is that the right word?). I own a pair fondly referred to as my “hundred mile an hour boots,” so named by a 50-something Teamster who told me they would be the ones I’d be wearing when we were “goin’ a hunnert miles an hour.”
